Overview
Rabbit Hole is an AI-powered research assistant that runs on Rush, the macOS agent platform. Your research queries and generated reports are processed locally and on-demand.
What We Access
Rabbit Hole searches public sources when you submit a research query:
- arXiv and Semantic Scholar for academic papers
- Reddit and Hacker News for community discussions
- SEC filings for company information
- General web search for news and websites
No background processing. Searches only happen when you explicitly request research.
Data Storage
- No research data on our servers. Queries and reports are processed in-session and not persisted beyond fulfilling your request.
- Session history and generated artifacts (reports, tables, diagrams) are stored locally on your Mac in
~/.rush/sessions/. - You can delete session data at any time through the Rush app or by removing files directly.
Third-Party Services
Rabbit Hole uses the following services:
- Anthropic Claude - AI processing for synthesizing research findings and generating reports. Your queries are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training.
- Public APIs - arXiv, Semantic Scholar, Reddit, and other public data sources.
What We Don't Do
- We do not train AI models on your research queries
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not store copies of your research on our servers
- We do not track what topics you research
Your Control

~/.rush/sessions/ - Request deletion of any data by contacting us
